Student Information
Arrival and Support
Choosing where to study is an
important decision. If you have
already found the right programme
for you, now is the time to imagine
what it would be like to be a
student at Motherwell College. For
all programmes, remember our
professional, experienced staff are
on hand to help you with academic
and non-academic issues from the
moment you arrive to the day you
progress to University or work.
We understand that a long flight can be tiring, but you
will receive a warm welcome from our Airport Greeters at
Glasgow or Edinburgh International Airports. They will
make sure that you are quickly and comfortably transferred
to your accommodation.
Settling in
After you have had a
chance to catch your
breath and settle into your
accommodation you will be
invited to take part in our
comprehensive Induction
Programme. The Programme
provides you with useful
practical advice on living and
studying in Scotland.
Supporting you, for your success
The College has an
International office, with
dedicated staff who offer
help and advice to all
international students both
before and during their
studies. The International
Office also runs various
trips and events throughout
the year, such as trips to
the Scottish countryside,
museums and art galleries
or to celebrate traditional
holidays such as Eid or
Chinese New Year.
